Vascular lasers

Vascular lasers use specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by hemoglobin (the pigment in blood).

This process:

• Heats and collapses unwanted blood vessels
• Allows the body to naturally reabsorb them
• Reduces redness and visible vascular lesions

This is called selective photothermolysis—precise targeting with minimal impact on surrounding tissue.

• Rosacea and persistent facial redness
• Broken capillaries (telangiectasias)
• Cherry angiomas
• Spider veins (face and some body areas)
• Port wine stains
• Post-inflammatory redness (acne marks)

After treatment:

• Mild redness and swelling for 1–3 days
• In some cases (higher settings), temporary purplish spots (“purpura”) that resolve within ~5–7 days

• Some vessels may disappear immediately
• Others fade gradually over 2–4 weeks
• Multiple sessions are often needed for optimal results
