What Is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment that uses your own blood to stimulate healing, collagen production, and tissue repair.

A small blood sample is processed to concentrate platelets, which are rich in growth factors—your body’s natural signals for regeneration.

How PRP Works

Platelets contain powerful growth factors that:

  • Stimulate collagen and elastin production
  • Improve circulation and tissue repair
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Enhance overall skin and hair health

When reintroduced into the skin or scalp, PRP helps activate your body’s natural regenerative processes.

What Can PRP Treat?

Skin:

  • Fine lines and early wrinkles
  • Dull or uneven skin tone
  • Acne scars and texture irregularities
  • Under-eye thinning and crepiness
  • Skin laxity and loss of radiance

Hair:

  • Hair thinning and early hair loss
  • Weak or miniaturized hair follicles

PRP improves the quality of the skin and scalp environment, rather than adding volume.

Treatment Experience

  • Blood draw (similar to routine labs)
  • Processing in a centrifuge (separates platelets)
  • Application or injection depending on treatment

Downtime:

  • Mild redness or swelling (1–3 days for microneedling)
  • Minimal downtime for injections
